How did you learn about MR Systems?
I used to work for a company similar to MR Systems. As big as the water industry is, it’s also pretty small!
How has MR Systems changed since you started working here?
One of the biggest changes has been in the size of MR Systems- we have grown so much since I started working here. We now have 3 additional offices in the southeast and close to 60 employees. With the growth, we have also been able to develop and improve in every aspect of our industry.
How has MR Systems helped your career development?
With my time at MR Systems, I have become a much better project manager since I started working here over seven years ago. I have improved my customer service skills and my ability to handle tough situations.
What is your proudest moment at MR Systems?
My proudest moment is when I won the founders award this past December. That was such an honor for me. Each year we get to submit our nominations for our colleagues. It is the highest award that MR has and is awarded for many years of extraordinary effort, phenomenal customer service, and exceedingly brilliant performance.
What are the most interesting and challenging projects you have worked on at MR Systems?
Most of my projects are in Tennessee and Georgia. The most challenging project was with the Clarksville WWTP in Clarksville, TN. It started in the beginning of 2013 and is a very large project with a lot of moving parts. Managing it well has kept the project moving as smooth as possible. The most interesting project is the City of Atlanta Quarry Pump Station project in Georgia. It is also a very large project, but has a lot of nice aspects. I am glad I am able to be part of this project.
What advice do you have for future employees?
The advice I have for future employees is that MR Systems is the best company I have ever worked for. If you work hard, the job is very rewarding.
